![]() ![]() Sway – this stat determines the amount of gun movement when you’re aiming down sight. These problems become more meaningful in the case of the extremely long-distance shots. Of course, at some point, the bullet drop will come into play and the damage will start to fall off. Range – the maximum distance that a bullet can travel while also dealing any damage. A weapon with higher Deviation will be more affected by RNG, unless you’re going to use a sight or scope. It introduces a bit more randomness to the shots that weren’t taken very carefully. ![]() Guns with higher recoil are more difficult to control if you want to hit multiple shots in a row.ĭeviation (DEV) – it’s an additional Spread modifier that only works when you’re not aiming down side. Recoil – it’s the factor that causes the Spread. Finally, taking the shots as you prone or crouch is a great way to increase stability. Besides, it’s less problematic if you’re aiming down sight. First of all, mods like grips and muzzles can decrease your weapons recoil and improve steadiness. There are quite a few ways of decreasing that problem. The low spread allows the player to hit multiple shots on a target in quick succession. Spread (SPR) – it’s the amount of recoil that you experience while firing your weapon. Time Between Shots (TBS ) – that’s completely self-explanatory, some guns are much faster than the others. The standard Zero Distance for most weapons is 100 meters. If your target is further than the weapon’s zero range, you may have to adjust your aim for the potential bullet drop. Zero Distance – the range at which your bullet’s trajectory should be perfectly straight. This mechanic is entirely decided by the Body Hit Impact Power. What you might not know, is that certain weapons can throw your aim off harder than others. ![]() This makes dodging bullets more manageable and makes it more difficult to hit a moving target.īody Hit Impact Power (BHIP) – as you probably noticed, if your character gets hit while aiming, they will flinch and lose track of their target. Since PUBG is not an extremely realistic game, the bullet speed of most weapons is slightly lower than in real life. This means that bullets shot from certain guns will hit their marks significantly quicker than others. It’s not something that matters all that much, but the differences in bullet speed between guns can get quite big. Initial Bullet Speed – it’s also referred to as the bullet velocity. It’s modified by the body part that you’re hitting, your target’s armor and the distance of the shot. It’s the base damage value that a weapon would deal. Let’s take a look at some of the most important PUBG stats:ĭamage (DMG) – this one is quite simple. The weapon system and damage calculations are quite complex and there’s a lot of data to take into consideration. The problems begin if you’re unable to succeed unless the game gives you the exact weapons that you want.Īs we already mentioned, all PUBG weapons have multiple important statistics that you can take into account while analyzing them. Swapping to your favorite Assault Rifle whenever it’s available to you is perfectly understandable. Of course, even with that mindset we all still have favorites. It’s the best way to consistently do well. That’s why you should learn to be proficient with multiple different guns. Even if you survive for a long time and loot tons of supplies, there’s no guarantee that you’ll find your favorite weapon. Surviving on the map with what the game gives you and clawing your way to better gear and more ammo are some of the main trademarks of the battle royale genre. That being said, you might not be able to get them in every mode and game. Over the course of multiple matches, you’re likely to discover some of your favorite guns and playstyles. Moreover, there’s the signature Crossbow, multiple throwable items, melee weapons, and pistols that are mostly used as secondary weapons. The weapon types are Assault Rifles (AR), Designated Marksman Rifles (DMR), Submachine Guns (SMG), Light Machine Guns (LMG), Shotguns and Sniper Rifles. After all, the game is relatively down to earth, even if it’s not the most hyper-realistic game out there. They’re divided into a few relatively standard categories. PUBG is not an exception and it offers over 30 weapons for players to kill opponents with. Every person who ever played any type of shooter understands the differences between camping in a safe spot with a sniper rifle and running around with a shotgun trying to blow up enemies from close range. The list of important stats is really long and it includes things like aim, range, shooting speed, magazine size and many others will affect the optimal strategies when using certain types of guns. Different guns will often require the players to adapt to different playstyles. All shooters, especially the newer ones, include a wide variety of weapons. ![]()

In April, he opened for John Lee Hooker at Gerde's Folk City. Dylan also began performing in coffee houses, and his rough charisma won him a significant following. ![]() He began visiting his idol Guthrie in the hospital, where he was slowly dying from Huntington's chorea. By the time he returned to Minneapolis in the fall, he had grown substantially as a performer and was determined to become a professional musician.ĭylan made his way to New York City in January of 1961, immediately making a substantial impression on the folk community of Greenwich Village. He spent the summer of 1960 in Denver, where he met bluesman Jesse Fuller, the inspiration behind the songwriter's signature harmonica rack and guitar. Already inspired by Hank Williams and Woody Guthrie, Dylan began listening to blues while at college, and the genre wove its way into his music. While at college, he began performing folk songs at coffee houses under the name Bob Dylan, taking his last name from the poet Dylan Thomas. Following his graduation in 1959, he began studying art at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. As a child he learned how to play guitar and harmonica, forming a rock & roll band called the Golden Chords when he was in high school. Born in Duluth, Minnesota, Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman, May 24, 1941) was raised in Hibbing, Minnesota, from the age of six. Even when his sales declined in the '80s and '90s, Dylan's presence rarely lagged, and his commercial revival in the 2000s proved his staying power.įor a figure of such substantial influence, Dylan came from humble beginnings. Dylan's influence on folk music was equally powerful, and he marks a pivotal turning point in its 20th century evolution, signifying when the genre moved away from traditional songs and toward personal songwriting. Dylan's force was evident enough during his height of popularity in the 1960s - the Beatles' shift toward introspective songwriting in the mid-'60s never would have happened without him - but his influence echoed throughout several subsequent generations, as many of his songs became popular standards and his best albums became undisputed classics of the rock & roll canon. And that's just the tip of his achievements. As a musician, he sparked several genres of pop music, including electrified folk-rock and country-rock. As a vocalist, he broke down the notion that a singer must have a conventionally good voice in order to perform, thereby redefining the vocalist's role in popular music. As a songwriter, he pioneered several different schools of pop songwriting, from confessional singer/songwriter to winding, hallucinatory, stream-of-consciousness narratives. Bob Dylan's influence on popular music is incalculable. ![]() ![]() There's so much that you can do, and so much that can play out above and beyond that, that repetition of motions doesn't necessarily mean repetition of outcome - particularly when you start to make use of the slow motion element, Focus, which acts as a modifier, as well as framing the finishing moves more excitingly, and allowing you to activate things like Bullet Dodge and, later, Neo's Force-like ability to stop bullets in mid-air and redirect them. The way it all dovetails together, the enormous variety of outcomes that key into every combat context, and the way, Killer Instinct-like, that it distils the spectacle into basic combos and simple prompt-response button jabs is enormously satisfying - both to watch and do. Why do one when you can do them both at once? S'my motto.īuilding up gradually over the course of various tutorials - filling in the blanks between that spike-to-the-back-of-the-head moment and "I know Kung Fu" - and at predetermined intervals in-game, the combat system develops from the initial hapless 'shove', to three-hit kick combos and the occasional run-up-someone's-face to a devastating arsenal of uppercuts, aerial attacks, sword-slashes, roundhouses, and more recognisable moves than you'd find flicking through Hello!'s celebrity housing special. There's a very solid base of push and pull here, as there is in any fighting game it's just that here your exertions are amplified accordingly, and evasion is practically capoeira. What you can expect is to feel like the force behind every flurry, the crankshaft behind every windmill pole-attack, and the momentum behind every combination. Of course you can't expect to throw every punch, land every kick or parry every attack. Where Path of Neo succeeds most is in the collusion of combat control and spectacle. When he cuts down an enemy with a samurai sword, and then without even turning fires the blade into the chap behind him and then boots him off it again before spinning into a roundhouse to someone's slacking jaw, you don't even have to suspend your disbelief. When Neo runs up someone's torso and delivers a skull-crushing volley to the face in slow motion, it ticks the box next to "true to source material" and the one next to "suitable videogame moment" so quickly you'd swear it was using two pens. He's made for this life.Īnd so it proves in The Path of Neo, which follows him from "Wake up Neo" to machine city. That rules him out of the running for the latest vacancy under my thumbs how, exactly? It sounds more like he inquired about the room in my PS2 and then turned up with a reference from Kurosawa and a character statement from Doomguy. So Neo can punch people 10 times a second, jump between skyscrapers and take on two hundred Hugo Weavings simultaneously. We are programmed to overlook the average lead's implausible capacity for violence and utterly ludicrous resilience in the face of everything from headshots to head-stomps from 90-foot robot-dragons. ![]() Too powerful for what? ![]() ![]() These seem to really only be good for solo greater rift pushing and that's just something I don't enjoy doing. I also hate how fireball clutters up the screen with all it's fire. I put a lot of time in my archon wizard last season, but i really can't stand these new channeling wizards. It can do everything from bounties to solo greater rifts, but I don't enjoy using it for anything. Maybe I don't have some gear I need, but I don't feel like it's all that tough. If you have 8000 deaths breath, you can just about totally gear up a second character just by upgrading rare items you make at the blacksmith.Ĭrusader - 100% condemn - I've done a GR90 with it, but I really don't like playing the crusader. The necro is the king of exp farming when it's combined with a znecro. The best defense is to be able to kill everything before it has a chance to attack you. I've done a GR100 solo, but this is the definition of a glass cannon. Rathma / znecro - Used for rat runs and paragon leveling. Here is how I rank and use the different characters.
